Mission Bit Coding Workshops8/30/2020 Program Name: Mission Bit Coding Workshops Type: Workshops / Classes Age: 7 - 12 graders Program Overview: We offer our students a field trip to a Bay Area tech company, career and college advising related to the technology field, and an opportunity to showcase their group projects to a large community of supporters during our Demo Day event at the end of the term. Our program’s inclusive community fosters positive relationships between students, their peers, and our experienced classroom leaders. Mission Bit brings like-minded individuals together to form long-lasting meaningful connections and gives students all the tools they need to succeed in the tech industry. Most classes and workshops offered are taught by by college students and software engineers who are passionate about computer science education. Workshops:
Dates: Applications currently open for available classes and workshops Register HERE Eligibility and Requirements: Any Bay Area high school student or 8th grade middle school student is encouraged to apply to our programs. There are no GPA requirements. Target Group: High schools who lack access to computer science courses and are from backgrounds that are underrepresented in tech (Black, Latinx, female).
